A clock you can leave open.

Quiet Clock is a lightweight browser clock, stopwatch and countdown timer. The hands show time directly from your device; the site does not synchronize with an atomic clock or a separate time server.

Pick a timezone and language

Open SETTING in the bottom corner. Choose a country or city to change the timezone. The automatic language option follows your selection; you can also choose your language independently. Countries with several timezones need a city selection: New York, Chicago and Los Angeles are separate choices.

Use the stopwatch

Select Stopwatch at the top of the screen and press Start. Pause freezes the recorded duration. Resume continues from that duration. Reset stops the measurement and returns the hands to zero. The small readout includes hundredths of a second; browser display updates are not a calibrated measurement instrument.

Set a countdown

Select Timer at the top of the screen, enter hours, minutes and seconds in the settings panel, then close settings and press Start. At least one second is required. Pause saves the remaining time; Resume continues it. Reset returns to your configured duration.

Keep the browser available

The timer follows a saved deadline, so a background tab catches up when it becomes active. A sleeping device, closed tab, page reload or browser sound restrictions can prevent an audible alert. Use your device alarm for a wake-up, medication or another critical reminder. Stopwatch and timer progress is stored for the current browser tab; settings and theme preferences are stored on this device.

Your desk, your clock

The gold, silver and walnut designs are original illustrations. Pick a design in settings and use Share my clock to copy a link containing your theme, language, timezone and mode. Full screen removes the page links and advertising area. It does not purchase or unlock a paid plan.
